Participating providers, include Optometrists, Opticians and Ophthalmologists who have agreed to accept significantly reduced fees for their services and products. These reduced fees are passed on to sponsors and participants by way of fee-for-service discount programs and fully funded managed care plans. Sponsoring organizations include BlueCross/BlueShield plans, insurance carriers, HMO's, corporations, unions, TPA's and associations.
